My name is Pia
I’m a native Spanish speaker, born and raised in Chile. I am currently living in Washington, USA.
My passion for learning languages and traveling started when I was a kid when my mom told me stories about her Exchange Student Program to the USA. Then I developed a feeling for teaching since I was surrounded by teachers from my mom's family side. Nowadays, I am working as a teacher in person and online. I teach Spanish, English and German. I also love art in all its expressions that is why I organize art workshops. This side of me comes from my dad's family.
I have degrees in language teaching and translation from universities in Chile. I have several years of experience with a large variety of students.
My family
I have an amazing good looking multicultural family who enjoy cooking, art, sport and traveling. We seem very awkward and slow sometimes when we try to find the right word in a specific language.
I love to travel
I started to travel abroad when I was 15 years old. I came to America, since the I become addicted to discovering new places. I have been in 43 countries in 5 continents. Some of them more than once. I enjoy the really enjoy the beach. I have many stories to tell and people to miss.
and also I love art
I am not an artist at all, however I enjoy creating and connecting my soul with my hands. Art has tought me to be perfectly imperfectly.
